A BACKING ROD is extruded closed cell polyethylene foam which is highly flexible and compressible.
Uses
- Used as a backup material for cold applied
- Used to achieve correct depth of the sealant
- Acts as a bond breaker, avoiding adhesion of sealant to the bottom of the joint
